BLDC motor

A brushless DC motor on four models — TT-04, TT-06, AE-01 and AE-05. These are the models carrying the longest motor warranties in the range.

Filterless design

Thirteen of fourteen models are filterless — oil is separated by airflow rather than trapped in a mesh. AE-02 is the one baffle-filter model.

Metal or plastic blower

Eight models use a metal blower, five a plastic one. The specification is listed openly on every product page rather than buried.

Oil collector

A collector catches separated oil on eight of the fourteen models. Where a model has no collector, the specification says so.
